COA Celebrates 2008!

Annual Celebration

On Dec. 10, the Council for Older Adults was joined by over 150 friends and community partners as we hosted our Annual Celebration breakfast. Outgoing board president Peter Shears Jr. (left) passed the gavel to incoming president Dr. Jerome Driesen (right), as our outgoing board members were thanked for their service. We also recognized the many local companies and nonprofit organizations who supported the Council in 2008. Thanks to all those who attended and who made 2008 a special year marked by many important achievements!
